Materials Suppliers

Students are responsible for acquiring prescribed materials for individual workshops. Once you have the correct materials list (see above), collect the materials. Many towns have an art store or two where you can get the basic art materials like pencils, paper, paint and stretched canvases. However, some materials, like particular pigments in Grumbacher Pretested oil paints for example, are very specific and may require special order or access to larger art stores.

For your convenience, we have provided links to some established on-line art stores. You can shop on-line, or contact the store and ask for materials per the workshop title (eg: Ken Campbell's Underpainting and Glazes Workshop) and have supplies shipped directly to you.

Art Books

Good books continue to provide knowledge and entertainment on art history, philosophical insights, materials, teaching, techniques and much more. Some art books in Ken's collection that he is happy to recommend include the following. (In alphabetical order)
